Second time visiting this place for my own animals for veterinarian care. Visiting the vets office is never easy, fun or cheap, but Meadowbrook does it's best to make prices reasonable, bedside manners for the animals are superb; they seem to really care, and they listen to everything you have to add and have an open dialogue explain the results of all the tests. They were very gentle with my kitten and knew how to handle cats, as opposed to other places that would mishandle my other cats in the past. They are frank about whether or not you would be better off not spending your money on a specific test that would be unnecessary or redundant (so basically, they don't upsell), and don't come cross as money hungry. I trust to go to this place again.
This vet took us in as an emergency visit (without being a client of theirs) after we had already driven over an hour to get into an emergency vet nearby just to be turned away. We were already in Peoria and we found Meadowbrook online. I can’t say enough good things! The staff was wonderful, and the veterinarian that we saw Dr. Collins went above and beyond! Extremely thorough and took the time to talk to us in depth. I really felt my dog was in great hands and that she got exceptional care! Highly recommend this place! Unfortunately we aren’t local, but if we lived close by, this is where I would want to start taking my dogs! Thanks again for taking such good care of our Rosie girl!
Took over the care of my mother's dog, so I've been taking her to Meadowbrook, as that's where we have always received veterinary care for all of our other animals. She is older and has some ailments that they have been helping me to combat for her. They are good about suggesting certain cares or procedures, but will offer a quoted price and don't pressure me about having them done. They are always very kind and gentle with her. And thoroughly explain what they are doing during the visits. I appreciate all the staff!
I’ve taken my pets to Meadowbrook vet for the last 6-7 years and I’ve never had a bad experience. Every single staff member is kind, caring, and love my difficult pups (both on the vet side and the grooming side). I have a belgian malinois now who is not always the best patient or grooming customer but everyone there is still so kind and understanding of his temperament and personality and they work with it. They are not the cheapest but they also don’t try to oversell. They are honest and upfront and try to provide more affordable options if they have them available. Love this place!
We’ve been taking our pets (dogs & cats) to Meadowbrook for 8 1/2 years, and we couldn’t ask for a better veterinary team. Everyone is caring, compassionate, and truly loves animals. Whether it’s routine care or boarding our dog while we’re on vacation, we’ve always felt confident that our pets are in great hands. After all these years, we honestly have no complaints—just gratitude for the excellent care they’ve provided. Highly recommend!
